MINT Privacy Notice

This notice explains, in plain English, how Manx Roots Ltd looks after the information you give us in the MINT landowner permission form.

What we collect

When you fill in the permission form, we collect:

  • Your name, property address, email address, and phone number (if given)
  • A description of the tree and where it stands
  • Your answers to each permission question

Why we collect it

We use this information for one purpose only: to record notable trees for the Manx Inventory of Notable Trees (MINT), strictly in line with the permissions you have given. Your name, address, and contact details will never be published as part of the MINT list.

How long we keep it

We keep your form for as long as the tree remains on the MINT list, so we always have a record of the permissions you gave us. If you withdraw your consent, we will remove the related information from the list and delete your form, except where we need to keep a minimal record of the withdrawal itself.

Who we share it with

No one outside Manx Roots Ltd. Your form is delivered to us by our form provider (Formspree) and stored in our team inbox. We do not sell, trade, or pass your details to any third party.

Changing your mind

You can withdraw your consent, ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it at any time. Just email us at info@trees.im or call 07624 259720. Withdrawing consent will not affect information already lawfully published up to that point.
